For students in AP Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Calculus.

Not cooked. Just losing points you already earned.

We train you for how the test is graded. You hold the pen.

Maybe your parent sent you this. Maybe you found it. Either way, here's exactly what happens, so nothing is a surprise.

See what happens
AP Biology Unit 4 Test: Cell Communication and Cell Cycle Name J. T. Period 2 Score / 100 2.A mutation stops a cell from making the receptor for asignal molecule. Predict how the cell responds to thesignal. Justify your prediction.(3 points) It won't respond to the signal. +1 justify: what does the receptor do? 1/3 5.A cell's G2 checkpoint stops working, and the cell divides.Explain why its daughter cells may have damaged DNA.(4 points) The G2 checkpoint checks the DNA. +1 and if it's skipped? finish the thought 1/4 8.Describe one difference between positive and negativefeedback. Give an example of each.(3 points) blank. ran out of time? 0/3 74 26 points lost. You knew 13 of them.

You know more than the test shows.

Most points get lost in three places. None of them is “not smart enough.”

  1. 1

The work you didn't write down.

A right answer with no steps can earn almost nothing. Graders give points for the setup.

  2. 2

    The “because” you skipped.

Explain questions want the reason, in words. The idea alone gets one point, not four.

  3. 3

    The clock.

Two blank questions at the end can cost more than one hard question in the middle.

All three can be trained. That's the whole job.

The first session: 45 minutes, and you hold the pen.

  • It starts with what you already do right.
  • Then a short timed set from the unit you just had.
  • One question gets graded the way AP readers grade it. Then you redo it and watch the points come back.
  • No lecture. No parents in the room.
  • Your parent gets one page about the test. You see exactly what to change.

Twice a week, on your class.

Same tutor, same time. Your teacher's units. Your next test.

Exam-style problems, on the clock. You do them. The tutor shows you where the points are.

Written answers back by the next day, graded point by point, with the why next to each one.

The Night Room: 9–10pm ET, Monday to Saturday.

Stuck at 9:30? Drop in.

The Night Room is open 9–10pm ET, Monday to Saturday. Ask your question. The tutor asks you questions back until you find the step.

Hints, not answers. Nobody does your homework for you, and nobody makes you feel dumb for asking.

Not in the room? Send a photo of the problem on WhatsApp. The same day or the next working day, you get a short walkthrough or a step-by-step guide for that step. It shows the method. You finish it.

The test isn't the first time on the clock anymore.

72 hours before

A short mock, timed like the real one.

After it comes back

We go through it with you: what earned points, what didn't, and what changes.

December and March

A full mock AP exam, so May feels like the third time, not the first.

What we won't do

  • Do your homework for you.
  • Re-teach stuff you already get.
  • Pile on extra hours. The practice replaces the hours that weren't working.
  • Talk about you like you're the problem. The test format is the problem, and it can be trained.
